INDIANA AGRICULTURAL TOUR

On June 12 we'll tour agricultural sites just north of the Purdue campus.  We'll depart campus at 9am and our itinerary includes

  1. A visit to a local farmer who specializes in building corn planters and raising hogs.  We'll have a short Bible reading and discussion at this farm.
  2. Eden Valley Farms in Francesville -- this farm includes a 2.5 acre hydroponic greenhouse facility.  You can learn more from their website here: https://www.evalleyfarms.com/ .
  3. Lunch at the Whistle Stop Restaurant and visit to the adjoining "Monon Connection Museum", which is a railroad museum.
  4. A short visit at BioTown Ag, USA, a large farm that uses the latest technologies to promote environmentally sustainable agriculture.  You can learn more from their website here:  https://biotownag.com/

We'll plan to be back to campus by 5:00pm

The trip includes a short Bible reading and discussion while we're at one of the farms.

Cost for the trip is $15, which covers transportation and museum entrance fee.  We'll each pay for our own lunch at the Whistle Stop Restaurant, so expect to spend about $10 extra for that.
